Hello,this  is a new era for me, I’ve decided to start a daily blog, upload a lot more pictures and show you what I’ve been designing. You can let me know what you think by sending me an e-mail through the ‘contact us’ tab.

Firstly I’d like to start by letting you know my designs are now protected by ACID, anti copying in design.

The Dragonfly range of necklaces, bracelets and ear rings continue to be my best seller, in homage to this range I’d like to share the latest dragonfly range with you.

As a way of saying “Thank You” to all my customers, Funky Beads are offering 10% off all jewellery until December 10th.

It’s that time of year again, so here’s a friendly reminder of 2009 Christmas delivery deadlines.

Please make sure you place any online orders by the end of December 21st to ensure they will be with you in time for Christmas.

A few pieces of good news for those tempted by the photographs on the website, but who would prefer to sample our Funky jewellery first hand before committing to buy.

Funky Beads are now producing a limited edition range exclusively for Doyles in Woburn Sands and Market Harborough called simply SJ’s. The autumn / winter collection is available from August 2009!

On september 19th Funky Beads by Sarah Jane will be exhibiting at the Autumn ball in the Midsummer hall at Jury’s Inn. This evening has been organised by SJF events in association with Willen Hospice. Even better, a percentage of all Funky Beads sales on the evening will be donated to Willen Hospice, so you can feel doubly fabulous about your new Funky jewellery purchases!

Thursday 24th September, Funky Beads will be exhibiting at the annual charity shopping extravaganza, held in the atrium at Whittlebury Park in support of Macmillain Cancer support and the Helen & Douglas Hospice.

I am delighted to announce a new concept in Funky Beads Parties!

Funky Beads Remodelling Parties are unique opportunities for small parties (up to six) to come along to my house (AKA Funky Beads Central) with your own jewellery which is broken, out of fashion or simply fallen out of favour, and re-invent them using beads from my extensive and varied stock, swap among yourselves, and get help with breathing new life into your old favourites.

The cost is £15 per head, and offers a unique, fun experience and a cost effective way to rediscover hidden treasures from your jewellery box.

Sarah-Jane has been busy creating a new range of Funky Beads jewellery for the winter season, and is currently busy attending several Funky Beads Parties in and around the Milton Keynes area.

The Funky Beads website will be updated very soon with photographs of the latest range of jewellery, featuring rich, natural colours and bold patterns, perfect for brightening up any occasion during the dark winter months. Funky Beads by Sarah Jane will be premiering their latest collection at FaCshion, Trade Buyer and Consumer Show, at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London.

FaCshion runs on Saturday 13 and Sunday the 14th September, from 1pm to 6pm. For free tickets to the show you can register online at www.FaCshion.co.uk.

Sarah-Jane will be available to meet you, talk you through this seasons collection, as well as taking orders for individual one-off pieces.

7th August 2008 sees the launch of our funky new website!

Thank you to all our customers who have waited patiently for the new site to go online, and for those who contacted us while things were “under construction”.

Our new site is a bit of a bold leap for us, which we hope will bring a true flavour of what Funky Beads by Sarah Jane are all about into your homes, via your computer screen. With high resolution, detailed images of all featured jewellery, you can really get a good feel for the intricate detail and quality of our pieces.

We also have some brand new features, including a shopping cart facility so you can buy securely online with PayPal, and the ability to receive email updates when we add new products to the site. The website will be updated frequently with new stock, so check back often or use the new email feature so you can be ahead of the queue when our latest creations are released.
